Terms of Service

By booking a repair service from Repair Guru ("we", "us"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Service Scope

Repair Guru provides home appliance repair services in Samastipur and nearby areas of Bihar, including AC, washing machine, geyser, air cooler, and related appliance repairs. Services are provided at the customer's premises ("doorstep service").

2. Booking & Appointments

• Bookings are accepted via phone (7903760419) and WhatsApp.
• Same-day service is subject to slot availability. We make every effort to honour same-day bookings made before noon.
• We will confirm your appointment by call or WhatsApp before dispatch.

3. Inspection Fee

• A minimum inspection fee of ₹99 applies to every service visit.
• If we successfully repair the appliance, the inspection fee is adjusted against the total repair cost.
• If we are unable to repair the appliance (No Fix), only the inspection fee (₹99) is charged — no additional labour charges.

4. Pricing & Payment

• A final price quote is provided after on-site inspection and diagnosis. You are not obligated to proceed if you disagree with the quote.
• All prices shown on this website are indicative starting prices. Final charges depend on the appliance condition, parts required, and complexity of the repair.
• We accept Cash, UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), and bank transfer.
• Payment is due upon completion of the repair service.

5. Service Warranty

• All completed repairs carry a 30-day service warranty from the date of repair.
• If the same problem recurs within 30 days, we will re-attend and fix it at no additional labour charge.
• The warranty does not cover: new or unrelated faults, damage caused by misuse or power surges, or issues arising from non-compliance with usage instructions.
• Spare parts supplied carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Please ensure a safe, accessible working environment for our technician.
• Inform us of any known safety hazards (e.g. MCB issues, leaking water) before the visit.
• You should be present (or have an authorised adult) at the premises during the service visit.

7. Limitation of Liability

Repair Guru's liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided. We are not responsible for any consequential loss arising from appliance failure or delay in service, except in cases of proven negligence by our technicians.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule a booking at any time before the technician departs. If a technician has already been dispatched and you cancel upon arrival without allowing an inspection, a ₹99 visit charge will apply.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Samastipur, Bihar.
